The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) is the second largest University in the Wisconsin system. It is a leader in research in healthcare, water, and energy. Listed among the nation’s 115 universities with the “highest research activity” by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, it has about 770 faculty members and research expenditures of about $60 million per year. It enrolls 26,000 students per year, including 4,600 graduate students.
ABCD Study at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee
The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee is one of 21 institutions nationwide that will recruit families to participate in the ABCD Study. Families in the ABCD Study will complete their assessments at UWM and the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Imaging Research in Wauwatosa, WI.
