ABCD Study at the University of Michigan

The University of Michigan is one of 21 institutions nationwide that will recruit families to participate in the ABCD Study. Drs. Mary Heitzeg and Robert Zucker lead the study at U-M. Dr. Heitzeg has been conducting research on brain development in children, adolescents and young adults for more than 10 years. Her research is focused on understanding the relationship between brain functioning and mental health and how it changes from childhood to early adulthood. Dr. Zucker is internationally recognized for his developmentally focused research on children and the contexts in which they grow up.

Families in the ABCD Study will complete their assessments at the Rachel Upjohn Building and the Bonisteel Interdisciplinary Research Building at the University of Michigan’s North Campus. To find out if you are eligible to participate in the ABCD Study at the University of Michigan, or to request information, please call (844) UMI-ABCD (864-2223) or email us at [email protected].
