Deborah Yurgelun-Todd, Ph.D.

Dr. Deborah Yurgelun-Todd is Professor of Psychiatry and Co-Director of the Diagnostic Neuroimaging Lab at The University of Utah. She received her Ph.D. in Psychology from Harvard University and completed her clinical training at McLean Hospital in Belmont, MA. She is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist in addition to a clinical researcher. Dr. Yurgelun-Todd’s research focuses on the relationship between neuropsychological functions and brain systems measured by magnetic resonance imaging. Her studies have sought to examine irregularities in the brains of people who have or are at risk for developing mood and behavior disorders. Dr. Yurgelun-Todd enjoys travelling; some of her favorite visits have included enjoying the beaches on Cape Cod, gumbo in New Orleans, and art museums in New York.
