Lindsay Squeglia, Ph.D.

Dr. Lindsay Squeglia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology, with a specialization in neuropsychology, at the University of California San Diego. Her research focuses on understanding the effects of alcohol and marijuana use on adolescent brain development, as well as creating effective treatment options for substance-using youth. She has a strong interest in community outreach and education efforts. Dr. Squeglia is originally from South Carolina and grew up in the Charleston area. Before attending graduate school, she received a Bachelor’s degree in Experimental Psychology at the University of South Carolina.
