Kevin Gray, M.D.

Dr. Kevin M. Gray is Professor and Director of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston, South Carolina. He received his medical degree, psychiatry residency training, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at MUSC before joining faculty in 2005. He has dedicated his career to understanding, preventing, and treating substance use disorders in adolescents and young adults, and has conducted National Institutes of Health supported research in this area throughout his career. He is active as a clinician, researcher, administrator, and educator. Before attending medical school, Dr. Gray received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University. A native of the South Carolina Lowcountry, Dr. Gray enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, and is proud to raise a family in this beautiful area.
