Duncan Clark, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Duncan B. Clark is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh. He received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, his M.D. from Harvard Medical School, and completed his psychiatry residency at Stanford. His research focuses on the causes, course, consequences, prevention, and treatment of alcohol and drug problems in adolescents. He also works as a clinical psychiatrist at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC) of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). Dr. Clark grew up in Syracuse, NY. Before his graduate studies, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at University of Rochester. He has lived and worked in Pittsburgh for over 25 years. When not working on his research, he enjoys playing platform tennis and drums.
